This is a general route map. There are some stops that are not included in the general route, and provided bellow.

ALT means you may choose optional points to visit if you do not want to plan them all, depending on the weather conditions.

Also you may consider splitting this trip into several trips.

Day 1

The Ferry is one of my favorite attractions in Seattle Area. If I have a chance to take a ferry, I will go for it. Depending on your starting point you may choose one  and enjoy the ride. Downtown Seattle is my favorite place to start due to the view on Downtown from a ferry.

Olympic Game Farm

This is a drive-trough farm where you can feed animals from your car. You may buy bread at the entrance. Be aware that your car may be drooled on.

Lavender Farms

There are many Lavender Farms in Sequim and you may choose the one you like the most. July is the month of Lavender festivals. I prefer visiting before or after official Lavender Day to avoid the crowd. One of our favorite is  Purple Haze Organic Lavender Farm.

B&B Family Lavender Farm is very popular.  You may find several types of lavender here and buy lavender oil of the sort you like. Lavender of different kinds has a different scent.

  Hurricane Ridge Trail

Beautiful and very popular trail named for its intense winds. 3.2 miles roundtrip with 650 ft gain. The weather  is unpredictable, so be prepared.

View may be foggy or clear, to make sure you get the view you may check the webcam.

Chipmunks are always there at the end of the trail. Deer are very common to see in this area, so drive safely.

Afterwards, you may choose a hotel to stay in Sequim or Port Angeles.

Day 2

There are many waterfalls in the area.

On the way to Sol Duc Falls, you may have a stop for the shortest trail with Madison Falls at the end. 0.3 mile roundtrip with 48 ft gain.

You may also enjoy Marymere Falls  trail. 1.7 mile roundtrip with 289ft gain.

Lake Crescent  is the starting point for this trail. You can swim in the lake in summer or barbecue with the gorgeous view.

Sol Duc Falls

Easy trail 1.6 miles roundtrip and 200 ft gain in the forest leads to the waterfalls.

On the way back there is Sol Duc Hot Springs  offering Mineral Hot Spring soaking pools.

Here you may decide if you want to soak in the pools and drive to Forks for the night, or visit two more points Beaver Falls  and Cape Flattery,  the furthest northwest point of the United States.

Cape Flattery trail is 1.5 miles roundtrip with 200 ft gain.  The road to Cape Flattery is curvy and slow.

To be prepared for the next day, the next overnight stop is a hotel in Forks

 Day 3

  Hoh Rain Forest

The forest is one of the largest rainforests in the U.S. Mosses and ferns are beautiful and dramatic. There are several small and very easy  loop trails. Watch your step for these guys:

  Ruby Beach

Ruby Beach is very popular and has a small parking lot. There are many alternatives to this beach. Kalaloch Creek has a bigger parking lot and beach line where you may barbecue. On the way to Kalaloch Creek you may stop at Big Cedar Tree. On the beach you may find Tree of Life
